Coal Creek Boxcars

The Coal Creek boxcars scuttled along the tracks with their black horde. She counted everyone of them from the pickup truck pulled up by the railroad crossing, the first and only vehicle in line on a Colorado mountain back road. 136, 137, 138. On the way to the Pinecliffe. On the way to Rollinsville and the Moffat Tunnel up high. She turned to the mystery man and pronounced the final count. "138, that's what you owe me". He gave her a wry enigmatic look. "138, what, babe?" His eyes brightened from the inner machinations of his mind. "138 kisses", she flatly declared. "Oh, I thought you meant something else. And, hey, I thought that was only if they were empty?" She slowly moved closer to him. "I'll take my chances."
